Automation & Control:

Moore has a number of TÜV-certified engineers for work on hazardous plants with potential adverse effects on the environment. As an example, we recently upgraded a legacy batch system to comply with S88 on a dangerous chemical plant. Part of the project included a safety-shutdown system that complied to SIL2. This was successfully completed within schedule, and without any loss of production.

In the plastics field we have migrated legacy UNIX systems to the latest automation and control hardware and software.  This resulted in the increased life span of the production plant, and improved process-optimisation opportunities.

For international clients providing systems into South Africa, we provide local expertise to assist with commissioning, and to maintain the local control-system investment.

Advanced Control Strategies:

Moore has assisted plastic companies to achieve their precise temperature control on their reactors to ensure maximum product yields from raw materials and optimise on quality.

Turbine & Compressor Predictive Maintenance:

Moore provides a comprehensive monitoring system for these vital assets. We monitor the actual outputs and manufactured outputs  to monitor the equipments against its full potential capacity. Efficiencies and power consumptions are also provided. Performance degradation is monitored together with online, near real time root cause analyses.

Alarm Management:

Moore provides comprehensive Alarm Management systems and services to ensure that the process risk is reduced to manageable levels and within International benchmarks. We assist with the creation of your alarm philosophy document, through to monitoring and analyses of your systems and processes right through to auditing and rationalisation.
